I believe a photo session should be enjoyable, fun and relaxed, whether I’m photographing musicians or a CEOs, sport stars or a family. My aim is to create images that show the essence of my subjects, where they are natural, unposed and un-self conscious.
I create my best images when I’m truly inspired and that applies to my wedding photography as well. Let’s just say I’m more of a beach / rustic-mountain / gumboot-wedding-on-a-farm than a lacy-bags-of-pink-and-white-almonds type of photographer…
On the beach or in the mountains, over a glass of wine (or a few beers), I believe an engagement (or just an “in-love”) photo sesion is all about having fun, feeling relaxed, going wild and getting slightly wacky…
Fun, relaxed, unposed and impromputu! Photographing with children and animals is supposedly a nightmare – but only if you try to get them to do what you want them to do! Simply let them be themselves and the best photos come out…
